Feeling incredibly blessed.

Lately it's not often we have even hours to spend together as a family, so having two full days over the weekend was both unexpected and quite welcoming. We soaked it up too. Friday and Saturday was business as usual.. but Sunday and Monday? pure bliss. We spent our days snuggling on the couch, drinking hot chocolate, strolling downtown, feeding ducks at the lake, laughing, holding hands and being so in love I felt my heart jump out of my chest at least three times. Feeling so incredible blessed this weekend and thanking God over and over for these moments together.

Our lately in 1.2.3.

Whewee! What a busy last month or so! I promised to do better with blogging again more regularly but with this crazy schedule it's darn near impossible to sit down and post things.. but at least, here I am! Better late than never. Whenever I feel the urge to throw in the towel on this ol' blog I'm reminded about how much I love coming to one place and seeing the past 5 years evolve through these posts...Some months I look through and I have dozens of posts and I'm reminded of the nights and mornings I spent writing and the multiple photo attempts taken and other months I see only one or two posts and think of how busy that month was.. Either way it's always little pieces and moments of our life. Right now I'm currently in one of the 'busy' phases where I'll look back and say "oh yes, that was quite a busy time for us!" So what's been going on? well, let me tell you...

1. Our CrossFit Gym opened! Most of you know through talking with me personally or via one of my social media sites that Kevin and I opened up our own business- a CrossFit gym. This has been a dream of ours since moving here and the Lord just opened all the right doors for us and on Jan. 21st we opened our doors! It is already a huge success. We have 20 members and more keep coming! Bless God. Our days get long leaving the house at 4:30am to make our 5am class and not returning home until past 8pm after our last class is done. Kevin and I switch off mornings and the nights that I work my other job we go without seeing each other at all. Kevin is also still teaching full time so his days are filled to the brim,  but we are so excited and thankful we've found a passion we both love and we're able to do it together. It also helps that our family and friends are rallying around to help with Mason duty, food prep, etc during these busy days. We're extra thankful for each of them.

2. School started. I'm working on my degree, as most of you know, taking Calculus and a Woman's Lit class this semester- both are online and both are hard. When I have a moment of spare time I'm working on these classes and sometimes I get mad I have to spend my spare time doing them but I just repeat this phrase throughout the day "It will be worth it. It will be worth it. It will be worth it."

3. Mason is in full blown 2 year old boy mode! He loves trucks, dirt and trains.. 24/7!  He is a real trooper spending a lot of hours at the gym with us right now too. We set up a large child area that he spends his time in and it's filled with... trucks and trains of course! During the days we still head to the park, take walks, go to the library and spend time snuggling. Mason has mastered the word snuggling and my heart literally melts when he looks at me and says 'mama, snuggle?'

Well that's about all I can get in before M wakes from his nappy. Hope I'm back here real soon but until next time... love you all dear friends!
